A stellar cast of local actors will perform Survival Instincts, the award-winning Short & Sweet play that resonated with audiences around Australia in 2010. The event is a world first theatrical treat to mark the launch of the Veranda Theatre Co on 25 July, 2020. Fittingly, the play will be performed on the veranda at my home in Freshwater, Cairns. Here’s a glimpse of what’s in store for the audience.

Meet Andy Cracker. He’s a 15 year old with body odour and a careless disregard for authority but underneath he’s trying to survive too. He’ll make you laugh, cringe and sometimes feel just a bit sad.
